Is amazon photos free to use?

Amazon Photos and Amazon Drive offer different storage plans at different prices to store your photos, videos and files. With your Amazon account, you get 5 GB of free storage. In addition, Amazon Prime customers get unlimited photo storage. To see the full list of our available plans, visit the Your Storage page.

With Amazon Photos, you can back up your photos and share them in the cloud, view photos by people and places, create albums and play slideshows. Access it on the web, through a desktop application, or from the mobile application. Prime members get unlimited full-resolution photo storage for free. Amazon Photos is one of the perks of a Prime membership.

You can store an unlimited number of photo files in your account and up to 5 GB of video files. Amazon Photos is free for anyone with an Amazon account, but without an Amazon Prime membership, it's limited to 5 GiB. However, if you're a Prime member, you get unlimited photo storage in original resolution at no additional cost. Videos are still limited to 5 GiB.

To get started, open the desktop browser on the Amazon Photos website (Opens in a new window) and sign in with your Amazon account. Both Amazon and Google offer prints, books and pendants based on your photos and albums, but I must admit that Amazon won the decisive victory in this category in terms of sizes, styles, options and, for the most part, also in price.
